I found a basement, that used to be connected to a kitchen Nazis made women from the camps cook in. There's lots of plaques along certain trails that talk about women in concentration camps, but this is the first one to actually have something left over. There's one picture from outside the basement, and another from inside.
The picture of the sign turned out much better than I thought it would with the camera-phone. The text mentions:
"We were allowed to take absolutely nothing with us from the kitchen (workplace). When someone took something, for example a turnip or something similar to 'treasure', and was discovered, she would have to spend the whole night closed up in the basement.
(Two Jews came, and had to sit -somewhere-). When the blows/shocks weren't strong enough the fight would begin."
The second part is kind of unclear, and seems to be a jump from what she was saying earlier, but it could be snipets from a longer interview.
I also found some more "eye trees," much bigger ones, covered in eyes.
